Khenpo Tashi Sangpo Amipa

Dear Dharma friends and members of all centres founded by ven. Khenchen Sherab Gyaltsen Amipa,

Given the current ongoing situation, the activities in our centres are cancelled until further notice.

In order to stay connected as a big Dharma-family with our Gurus, with the wisdom of His Holiness Dalai Lama, His Holiness Gongma Trichen Rinpoche, His Holiness Sakya Trizin and Khenchen Sherab, from whom we received so many precious teachings and blessings, we use this challenging time to go deeper into our Dharma practice.

Lama Gendun Gyatso (at the centre SAKYA TSECHEN LING Kuttolsheim/ France) and myself (at the centre THUPTEN CHANGCHUP LING in Arosio/ Switzerland) will continue to perform the Loma Gyönma ritual to help pacify the ongoing epidemic.

Loma Gyönma is a female Buddha who acts specifically against these diseases.

The next rituals (which take place from 10.00 to 11.30 a.m.) will be on the following special days:

Tuesday 24 March (New Moon)
Friday 3 April (Guru Rinpoche day)
Sunday 5 April (Anniversary of Jetsun Drakpa Gyaltsen)
Wednesday 8 April (Full Moon)
Friday 17 April (Dakini day)
Wednesday 22 April (Anniversary of Jamyang Loter Wangpo & New Moon)
Friday 1 May (Medicine Buddha day)
further dates will be updated at a later date

The centres are closed, but I invite you, if you have the possibility, to participate at the same time in the ritual from home, performing the sadhana of Loma Gyönma or the practice of Tara or any other daily practice and recite the enclosed prayer of Thangtong Gyalpo.

Further I encourage everyone to practice an intense accumulation of mantras for the benefit of all sentient beings between now and April 14, 2020, the anniversary date of the passing away of our Guru Khenchen Sherab G. Amipa Rinpoche.

You can accumulate the mantras of Loma Gyönma, Tara, or your main Deity. Keep a trace of the mantras you have recited and communicate it to your centre by April 12, 2020 at the latest. During the Guruyoga-practice on the commemoration day of Ven. Khenchen Sherab Rinpoche, the accumulated mantras will be offered and dedicated. May our accumulation of mantras be beneficial for all sentient beings, free them from their sufferings and pacify their anxieties and worries.

“May all who are sick and ill quickly be freed from their illness,
and may every disease in the world never occur again.

May the frightened cease to be afraid and those bound be freed;
may the powerless find power, and may people think of benefitting one another.”

(Bodhicaryavattara, 10th chapter)

Please receive our warmest greetings,

Sakya Tsechen Ling
